Demadonna's Ishmael Bushendich and Rebecca Chesir of Kenya run 2h08'42" and 2h24'25" to claim a runner up position at the Vienna City Marathon


bushendich viennaKenyans Chemtan Ishhimael Bushendich and Chesir Rebecca Kangogo took second position in the men's and women's thrilling final sprint duels at the Vienna City Marathon, an IAAF Gold Label Road Race on Sunday April 23.

Despite the unfavourable conditions characterized by strong winds, two very competitive races developed at the Viena City Marathon. Our Ishmael Bushendich crossed the finish line with a time of 2h08'42 just 2 seconds behind compatriot Albert Korir winner of the race in 2h08'40.


chesir viennaIn the women's race, our Chesir Rebecca Kangogo reached the finish line in 2h24'25" after losing the sprinting battle with Fellow Kenyan Nancy Kiprop who cloaked 2h24'20", second-fastest women’s time in the history of the race.
