Demadonna’s Muktar Edris of Ethiopia runs his personal best to claims victory in the men’s 3,000 meters at the Meeting de Paris on June 1st

 

muktarA dramatic finish in the men’s 3000 meters at the Meeting de Paris saw two of the world’s most talented middle-distance runners, Ethiopia’s indoor champion Yomif Kejelcha and Kenya’s Ronald Kwemoi, winner at two IAAF Diamond League meetings already this season battling it out down the home straight with Ethiopia’s Muktar Edris. But it was going to be Muktar Edris to finally snatch the victory crossing the finish line first in 7’32’’31, his new personal best.

Kwemoi has to settle for second in 7’32’’88, while Ethiopia’s Yomif Kejelcha was third in 7’33’’37.
