Ethiopia's Muktar Edris and Kenya's Agnes Tirop completely dominated the men's and women's Boclassic 2017 winning in 28'45" and 15’30" respectively

 

Demadonna's represented athletes led by Ethiopia's Muktar Edris and Kenyan's Agnes Tirop, two stars of track and field, produced an outstanding performance at Bolzano's Boclassic 2017.

In the men's race, Ethiopian Muktar Edris dominated the race, winning for the third time in four years the prestigious Bolzano's New Year's Eve Boclassic race. He crossed the line in 28'45", ahead of the two Moroccans (also represented by Demadonna Athletic Promotion) Soufiane Bouqantar, second in 29'07" and Hicahm Amghar third in 29' 08".

In the woman's race the victory at the Boclassic 2017 went to Kenyan's Agnes Tirop, repeating what she did in the course of last year's edition. The women's 10, 000 meters world champion literally dominated the race closing the 5 kilometers in 15'30". Second consecutive victory, and corse record.

In second position was compatriot's Margaret Chelimo, also represented by DAP. Chelimo crossed the line almost 30' behind in 15'58", while the British Stephanie Twell was third with 16'03".
