DAP's Lydia Cheromei of Kenya wins the Rabat Marathon and New Zealand's Jake Robertson takes third on his debut at the Lake Biwa Mainichi Marathon

cheromei rabatSunday 04th March, in Morocco it took place the Rabat Marathon, a race conditioned today by strong winds which compromised the final chrono time. The women's race was won by Kenya's Lydia Cheromei, represented by Demadonna Athletic Promotions, she reached the finish line with a time of 2h28'48".

Second and third place for the Ethiopian duo formed by Megertu Alemu runner up in 2h31'33", followed by Muluhabt Tsega in 2h33'23" respectively.

New Zealand’s Jake Robertson cruises in 2h08'26" to take third place at the Lake Biwa Mainichi Marathon, in Japan, breaking a 34-year New Zealand's record. The race was won by Macharia Ndirangu of Kenya in a time of 2h07'53" followed by his compatriot Albert Korir second in 2h08'17".
