DAP's Tarese Tolosa and Caroline Chepkoech take victory in the men's and women's 1500 and 3000m respectively at the first leg of the 2018 IAAF Diamond League in Doha on Friday 04

doha diomond league 2018The the first leg of 2018 IAAF Diamond League in Doha witnessed a scintillating evening of back-to-back action as the world’s best athletes delivered incredible performances across the track.

Our focus goes to Demadonna's Bekuma Tarese Tolosa of Ethiopia, victorious in the men's 1500 meters when crossing the finish line with a time of 3’35’’07, season best for him.

Kipkirui Caroline Chepkoech of Kenya who imposed herself in women's 1500 meters to take the victory in a personal best and world lead of 8’29’’05. She was followed by fellow teammate Agnes Jebet Tirop, second in 8’29’’09, also her personal best and also represented by Demadonna Athletic Promotions. Hyvin Kiyeng took third in a time of 8'30"51 to complete a Kenyan clean sweep.

In the men's 3000 meters steeplechase our Kipsang, Lawrence Kemboi of Kenya took the second place with a new personal best time of 8’15’’07, while Kipkoech, Nicholas Kiplangat also from Kenya claimed third position in the men's 800 meters in 1’46’’51.

In the women's 1500 meters oue Jepkosgei, Nelly of Kenya finished second with 4’00’’99, personala best for her.

Last but not least, personal best  for our Yemaneberhan Crippa who runs 13'18''83 in the 5000 meters in Stanford, California at the Payton Jordan Invitational meeting held on Thursday May 3rd.
