Kenya’s Kipkoech Nicholas outsprints Rudisha and company to win the 2017 Ostrava Golden Spike meeting on Wednesday 28


kipchoeshWednesday June 28 – Demadonna’s represented Kipkoech Nicholas of Kenya is the biggest winner of the men’s 1000 meters at the 56th Ostrava Golden Spike IAAF World Challenge track and field meeting. Kipkoech took the matters in his hands outsprinting everybody in the last 60 meters, including Rudisha, and cruise to the finish line in 2’18’’51. He followed by Czech Republic’s Jakub Holuša and Filip Sasínek second and third in 2’18’’68 and 2’19’’03 respectively.

Only fourth place for Rudisha in 2’19”43.
