Demadonna's Asefa Tasegaye Mekonnen cloacks 2h09’18’’ at the 2018 Shanghai marathon to take second place in the men's race on Sunday 18

Demadonna's represented Tsegaye Mekonnen of Ethiopia was defeated by his compatriot Seifu Tura in the final sprint. Tura was crowned winner of the 2018 Shanghai marathon eventhough both Tura and Mekonnen clocked the same time, howver, Mekonnen had to settle in second place.

Dickson Tuwei of Kenya concluded the men's podium in 2h09'21".

In the women's race, DAP's represented Lempus Betty Wilson of Kenya reached the finish line in a personal best of 2h23’40’’ to claim the third position. She finished behind Ethiopia's Yebrgual Melese who broke away in the final stages of the race to cross the line in a course record of 2h20'37 and Azmera Abreha who was second in 2h21'51".


Crippa dominates the International Warandecross in Tilburg to win in 29’23’’ on Sunday 25

crippa tilburgYeman Crippa opens his season with a victory in Tilburg (Holland), the same soil that in two weeks will host the Europeans Cross-Country championships. 

In the 10.3 kilometers race of Tilburg, the young man from Trentino reached the finish line in a time of 29'23 leaving behind him the Russian Rinas Akhmadeyev, second in 29'25 and the Swedish Napoleon Solomon third in 29'32.
